When you’re using Apple Watch, it is a literal computer on your wrist: apps/notifications, workout tracking and if the phone has been sprung for the cellular model.

But, as the Apple Watch ages (and new features) and two day battery life of older models go away. My Apple watch Series 6 update is after it has been updated to 2 days that I can only use once for 1 hour. What could be my solution?

For you, it may be watchOS, new features or the fact that your little Apple Watch battery has been quite a long time. No matter what is draining your battery life, there are two settings you can change to make the AppleWatch run longer by’very much more power’.

Turn off the Always On Display

The big deal is that you’re essentially killing the biggest selling point for new Apple Watches. Still, I think it’s worth it. For me turning off the Always On Display has been like going back to Series 0 and series 3 Apple watches (both of which are my favorite and owned).

Your Apple Watch won’t display the time or any complications data when it’s in your rest mode. When you turn off this, I stopped caring that my display was not always on. After one day or two and then a day/two will be showing the screen light up. My display isn’T really going to show me what happened (I miss peeking the moment now at the top of our screen but then mostly okay). If you do nothing else on this list; just disable the Always On Display?

For example, to disable this option, go to Settings > Display & Brightness> Always On and then turn off the * Alway On.

Until you’re here, try some other tweaks. You can cut down on the time that the display stays on or lower the brightness to save even more battery life.

Disable Background App Refresh

Disabling Background App Refresh on Apple Watch.

While many Apple Watch apps use a lot of them, it’s not necessary to need Background App Refresh for the apps. Apps running in the background and updating constantly aren’t good for your battery life.

If it makes a dent in the battery life, try turning off Settings > General + Background App Refresh to see if it is making ‘do not make any sense of this.

Disable cellular connectivity when you don’t need it

A Cellular Apple Watch may be a good idea to turn off the cellular connection when you don’t need it.Depending on where you are located, it might look for swaying signal signals and eating up your battery life.

You can quickly activate or disable cellular connectivity from the Settings app. Scroll down to Cellular and then turn off the toggle on * Cellul* (you can jump back in here at any time you need it).

A notification for any app that currently has a notification in the Apple Watch can also be quickly disabled, and you can tap it’s three-dot Menu button to choose the Turn Off option. Swipe left on the notification is activated by pressing the “June” button of the application (the iPhone) which will now have an iPod off/off device.”

Get rid of notifications overload

Disabling Notifications for Apple Watch.

If you reduce the number of notifications on Apple Watch, it will not only help your battery life but also your mental health. Every time you receive a new notification, your Apple watch screen lights up, the device vibrates and you hear’very loud notice sound (if you aren’t using Silent Mode at all times, as you should) Many notifications in one day will surely affect your iPhone Watch battery lifetime.

Depending on your iPhone, you can customize this: here open the Watch app and go to the Notifications* section. Now just turn off notifications that you don’t want to get on my Apple Watch by-app.

Delete apps you don’t need

Deleting apps from Apple Watch.

You should be able to do an app audit for your Apple Watch. Apple watch installs compatible versions of every iPhone app you download, so that it is not possible until the App Store has been opened on your iPhone and navigates to My Watch > GeneralApp Install** by default.

For example, the first is to go down in the bottom of the My Watch section, choose an app and disable the Show App on Apple Watch option for uninstalling it from the Apple watch.

Remove widgets from the Smart Stack

Removing widgets from Apple Watch.

I love the widgets on the Apple Watch. Why should I keep them around? But you can remove them from the Smart Stack to save some battery life. Widgets update in the background with new information even when you aren’t using the apple watch actively.

Snup up for a view of the Smart Stack. Swipe left on ‘a widget’ and tap the X button to quickly remove it from your watch face, repeat with all the widgets you want to rid of.

Say Goodbye to Siri

Disable Siri on Apple Watch.

To be honest, Siri on the Apple Watch is not great. I’ve tried to make it work (a lot of times) and that means disables this gain in battery life; you can turn off the “Hey, Sir” phrase that the Watch always scans for — and still use Siri by long-pressing the Digital Crown.

In the Settings > Siri section, go to * Setting’s and in the Ask Siri button choose the Listen For* bouton; here you tap the “Off*” button to turn off this feature.

In a pinch, use Low Power Mode

Enable Low Power Mode on Apple Watch.

I’m sure that like the iPhone, Apple Watch has a Low Power Mode. But here it’s very restrictive and would be highly recommended for people to always use it.’ Just as you might have been on the iPod, let’t say there is an extremely long evening or if you are going out at night—enabling this in the afternoon may be advisable.

To open the Control Center button and select a Battery, press the Side button to initiate the release of this button (the **Low Power Mode), scroll down the page, and tap the yellow Turn On.

Disable health features you don’t need

Disabling health features that you don't need on Apple Watch.

While the Apple Watch is a great fitness and health tracking device, but both processes do many things in the background that can kill up battery life. Still, asking you to disable all of these features may be legitimate for you; something like irregular heart rate monitoring (or noise level tracking) are very personal: If it’s not necessary or even if you don’t need any kind of thing on your Apple watch, then you have to turn off them for ages so as to know whether it really affects your battery lifetime.

You can disable it by aSettings > Blood Oxygen, Belloon’s Measurements on an Apple Watch that supports Blood Oxigen tracking.

To disable Irregular Rhythm tracking, go to Settings > Heart > Irregular Rhythm.

To disable noise tracking, go to Settings > Noise > Environmental Sound Measurements > Measure Sounds.

Lastly, turn to a factory reset

A factory reset is not for everyone. But if you’ve tried everything else and your Apple Watch is otherwise healthy, it can be a good idea to try at least once: It gives you clean slate (loading up only essential apps) but unless the battery drain is due to – such as reupending watchOS or requiring sane software update — he said that i would recommend restoring my iPhone on its own?

You can go to Settings > General Reset* and choose the E All Content and Settings option. As you will be reconnecting it with your iPhone, you won’t need to disable Find My or the Cellular plan.
