Has anyone died? I thought my health was inevitable but one November 2020 moment changed my life and made me realize how important technology is in our daily lives.

I have heard that the Apple Watch saves lives, but never thought I would call on Apple’s wearable to save mine one day. As it turns out, it did so repeatedly and was a key part of helping me rebuild my life.

Several Apple Watch features are rightly praised for their lifesaving capabilities, and many of them have been an inspiration to me. How has the Apple watch saved my life so many times?

A brush with death at the age of 33

I have a day to understand how the Apple Watch will affect my life. November 27, 2020, is one of the days that I’ll never forget about it. It was 3 p.m., I just returned to San Francisco and I woke up with my heart beating. Instantly thought I had gotten ill; as soon as it turned out: “I think I am having sex” (and right) My life has been completely changed by the first major medical condition which happened only days before my birthday.

I had seen this for much of the year. My father died four months before and was causing heart palpitations soon after. Both sides of my family have been having most major health conditions. The precursors to all these were long-term, but they made it even worse.

A new journey for me began with health, one of the most important aspects of being alive: It took four days to undergo an angioplasty—a balloon-like stent placed inside a blocked or discharged artery — and finally launched long road trip to rebuild my health that the Apple Watch played.

The Apple Watch could have helped me much sooner

My Apple Watch Watch Series 10 monitoring!Heart Rates were years of my life, and some features kept me in much better condition. I’ve always been very well-equipped with Activity Rings to keep myself healthy until the pandemic hit in 2020 which led many swimming times per week and never met my targets.

My father died months before the heart attack. I switched from the Apple Watch to analog watch when I lost my dad. My Dad loved his watches and this was a tribute to Rado-branded watches.

I think this is a long-term decision that will be regrettable for years to come, as I really believe the Apple Watch would have alerted me to my imminent heart attack. When I left hospital and bought the latest (at the time) Apple watch Series 6, it was part of my multi year health journey rebuilding.

How the Apple Watch saved my life repeatedly

Whenever you’ve ever been on Apple Watch Series 10 and have had a brush with death, you know that the hardest part of recovery is health anxiety because it has created an array of health features designed to help in healthcare emergencies. It’s easy to ignore these things but I’m living proof they are so powerful.

My opinion is that health will probably be Apple’s biggest contribution to humanity — a sentiment CEO Tim Cook says in the book of his books: While many features helped me recover, some were important for my health.

The largest of these is Medical ID, which remains Apple’s only major technology company to automatically sync your medical records. On the two occasions that I was able to see my health condition, my emergency contacts and all the medications I am taking were quickly looked at by them (a quick look at my wrist) but they stopped giving me any emergency medication that would have been interacted with my heart medicine and possibly ended my Heart?

While recovering from a heart attack is going through the process of cardiac rehab, and during this period you are also rebuilding your muscles. For me, it was about reconstructing my entire musculoskeletal system; shortly after the heart assault I couldn’t stand straight. Fall detection is lauded on Apple Watch as one of the most important features in that case but soon after fall fell… Its lifesaver: Twice, I fell, then the Apple watch immediately called 911 while notifying my emergency contacts.

Apple Watch is a great companion for chronic health conditions

The Apple Watch is a good companion for those with chronic health conditions such as mine, and there are many reasons why the!Medical ID on Apple watch Series 10 Beyond its useful features in an emergency. When you live thousands of miles from family (I did), when you have to live hundreds ofmiles from your friends and family — it’s easy to notify your friend or family — but far away they live – when the worst happens.

I have also used a suite of health features. Heart rate monitoring was particularly useful. It’s been nearly four years since my heart attack, but until the Pixel Watch 3 came out earlier this year that it still relied on heart rate monitor to tell how my core was doing.

The Apple Watch Series 10 Vitals on!Medical ID are also very useful when I am asleep, and my doctor’s heart monitor is one of the medications that helps me adjust my medication. One of these is a beta blocker (which works to control and suppress your Heart rate) which can often lead to your low heart rate for the first three months after my heart attack; this was frequently happening overnight but it has been an important step by data from the Apple watch team in order to find the right dosage for myself.

Some of the other Apple Watch features are very useful, but may have been better for me. Blood oxygen monitoring doesn’t help when you might be breathing problems; The ECG app is a great way to run if one/12th of data that he has passed out with an at-home six-lead EKG device and I quickly replaced it with this same information as well (although not necessarily) medical-grade EEG.

Apple’s big impact on our health

Apple has redeveloped the Apple Watch and Apple Health to be one of the most important components in many people’s health care. The new features, which offer a more holistic view on your health from just one device on my wrist, are also added as part of their overall health plan for years since I have suffered heart attack (see:!Vitals Heart Rate on the iPhone Watch Series 10).

The addition of mindfulness, which I’ve found useful in combating anxiety, was added to WatchOS 8’s add-on fall detection during workouts and more exercises such as Pilates. WatchoS 9 also added custom workouts, better sleep insights and AFib tracking for millions of people with undetected atrial fibrillation worldwide; Watch OS 10 improved mindfulness (along with exercise tracking), workout tracking & medication reminders that are particularly helpful when you take the same amount of medications every day?

It was released a few weeks ago and greatly improved the Health suite. Sleep reports are now better, more helpful in understanding whether you may have sleep snea (which is particularly common for those with heart disease), as well as being able to detect it on the Apple Watch Series 10’s ‘very much of the reasons I found so appealing about the Galaxy Watch UltraThe Vitals app also offers an additional support for its ability to monitor your health condition.

In the last four years, Apple Watch has been a boon to my life and health. Many of the new Apple Health features were not present during my recovery from heaviest heart attack but are designed to extend the lifesaving capabilities of an Apple watch. I will wear An apple Watch (at least with Pixel Watch 3) for its loss of pulse detection – mostly because it saved my lives many times and will likely continue to do so in the coming years.
